Milan claim to have done everything within their power to find a solution, while Bologna opposed the option of playing at an alternative venue.
The Rossoneri had planned to auction off the jerseys worn by their players in the match to contribute to a fundraising initiative organized by the Metropolitan City, complementing Bologna’s decision to donate half of the match’s proceeds to the same cause.
