Roma’s Le Fee: Agent reveals Interest from top clubs Including Milan

Start

Enzo Le Fee, one of Roma’s most expensive summer signings, is poised to make a comeback after a two-month injury layoff due to a collateral ligament issue. The French midfielder, who has only played two matches for the Giallorossi so far, is eager to establish himself as a key player in Ivan Juric’s squad.

Le Fee’s arrival at Roma was not without controversy. His signing, orchestrated by sporting director Florent Ghisolfi, remained the club’s sole summer acquisition for an extended period, causing some discontent for manager Daniele De Rossi.

Despite initial skepticism, Le Fee has been one of Ligue 1’s standout midfielders over the past two seasons, attracting interest from numerous top clubs. Among these suitors was AC Milan, as confirmed by the player’s agent, Sébastien Szwarc.

In an interview with Sportitalia, Szwarc revealed the extent of interest in Le Fee: “Enzo has always generated a lot of interest among big clubs. In January 2023, he was close to moving to Borussia Dortmund, and in the summer of the same year to Bayer Leverkusen. However, he chose to go to Rennes due to the special bond with coach Bruno Génésio. Milan had also shown interest in the summer of 2023.”
