Udinese full-back Nahuel Molina is closing in on a move to La Liga side Atletico Madrid, despite being linked with a move to Juventus. The Bianconeri were reportedly very interested in the Argentine international following his breakthrough season with Udinese in 2021-22.
Udinese Sporting Director Pierpaolo Marino previously suggested Juventus would be ideal for Molina as they could ‘improve’ the player, but a move has failed to materialise.
Sky Sport Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Atletico are just ‘a step’ away from signing the 24-year-old this summer but no figures have been reported as yet.
Argentine centre-back Nehuen Perez is expected to make the journey to Udinese to join the Friulani in a outright deal, thought to be separate to the Molina transfer.
