FIGC Prosecutor Chinè requests Investigation documents from Milan Prosecutor’s Office in Ultras Inquiry

Start

Following the judicial investigation in Milan into organized crime infiltration in Inter and AC Milan’s fan curva, which led to nineteen precautionary measures against ultras representatives this morning, the sports justice system is now taking action. Sportface report that Giuseppe Chinè, the federal prosecutor of the Italian Football Federation (FIGC), is requesting the custody order and non-confidential investigation documents from the Public Prosecutor’s Office in Milan.

The aim is to verify any potential conduct “relevant” to sports regulations by the two clubs or their registered members. This move comes as part of a broader examination of the relationship between the clubs and their organized fan groups.

It’s important to note that neither Inter nor AC Milan are currently under criminal investigation in relation to the inquiry into the activities of Milan’s fan curves. However, the FIGC’s interest in the matter suggests a desire to ensure that all aspects of club-fan relationships are in line with sports regulations.
