Parma manager Fabio Pecchia addressed the media in a press conference ahead of their upcoming match against Cagliari. Despite having only one victory so far this season, Pecchia expressed his team’s desire to turn the page and build consistency starting with the game against Cagliari.

Pecchia emphasized the importance of their playing style, stating, “We must rely on our quality plays to seek goals with speed, we must trust our strengths. There will be moments when the match may take a different turn, and we’ll need to adapt. The game itself will dictate those requirements. We’ll need to play at the same level as Cagliari.”

The Parma manager also highlighted potential challenges throughout the match: “They are a very experienced team with great physicality and are coached by a skilled manager. Regardless of their current form, there’s a lot behind this match, but in the end, it’s worth three points like any other. We want to play it to our full potential.”

Pecchia likened the championship to a marathon, emphasizing the need for balance and serenity. He added, “We must learn from every match to improve ourselves. I can’t judge how situations are managed in other teams, but I think we’ll face a team that’s not as young as ours, but one that’s used to experiencing these moments and managing tension.”
