OFFICIAL: Fiorentina sign Yacine Adli

Start

Fiorentina have officially announced the acquisition of Yacine Adli from AC Milan on a season-long loan deal. The French midfielder arrived at Viola Park on Tuesday evening to complete the transfer.

The agreement includes an option for Fiorentina to make the move permanent at the end of the 2024-25 season. Should they choose to exercise this option, Adli would sign a four-year contract with the club.

As part of the deal, Fiorentina will pay a modest loan fee to Milan, with the option to purchase set at €13 million plus potential bonuses. During his stint with La Viola, Adli will don the number 29 jersey.

Due to the timing of the transfer, Adli will not be available for Fiorentina’s upcoming Europa Conference League play-off second leg against Puskas Akademia. However, he could potentially make his debut in the Serie A fixture against Monza on Sunday.

The 24-year-old brings valuable experience to Fiorentina, having made 39 appearances for Milan, with 30 of those coming in Serie A.

Adli’s arrival marks Fiorentina’s sixth signing of the summer transfer window, joining the likes of Moise Kean, Marin Pongracic, Andrea Colpani (on loan), Amir Richardson, and Albert Gudmundsson as new additions to Raffaele Palladino’s squad.
