Teun Koopmeiners is set to become Juventus’ latest signing as he arrives in Turin for his medical examination and contract signing. The Dutch midfielder’s transfer from Atalanta to Juventus is nearing completion, marking a significant move in the Serie A transfer market.
This morning, Koopmeiners is scheduled to undergo his medical tests at J|Medical, Juventus’ state-of-the-art medical facility. The anticipation for his arrival is palpable, with reports of around 300 fans, including several organized groups, gathering outside the medical center to welcome the new signing.
Before heading to J|Medical, Koopmeiners made a stop at Continassa, Juventus’ training ground, to greet his new teammates, sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli, and manager Thiago Motta’s staff. This gesture highlights the player’s enthusiasm for his new adventure with the Bianconeri.
The transfer deal between Juventus and Atalanta is reported to be worth €52 million, with an additional €6 million in bonuses. Juventus will also cover the solidarity contribution, further demonstrating their commitment to securing Koopmeiners’ services.
Upon successful completion of his medical, Koopmeiners is expected to sign a five-year contract with Juventus, reportedly worth €4 million gross per season.
