Antonio Conte has taken a decisive stance on Napoli’s transfer activities, signaling a complete overhaul of last year’s acquisitions. Players such as Natan, Jens Cajuste, and Jesper Lindstrom are no longer part of Conte’s plans for the club.
La Gazzetta dello Sport (via IlNapolista) report how Natan, acquired for around €14 million, made just fourteen appearances and is now set to join Betis Sevilla. The transfer is expected to be finalized soon, with the deal structured as a loan that could become a mandatory purchase based on performance.
Lindstrom, who was brought in for €25 million from Eintracht Frankfurt, has already moved to Everton on a loan deal with a purchase option set at €22 million. He has quickly become a fan favorite among Everton supporters.
Cajuste, although he passed medicals with Brentford, has returned to Napoli temporarily but remains outside Conte’s plans.
The overhaul doesn’t stop there. Cheddira, signed for €12 million , and Belgian player Cyril Ngonge, who was the club’s most expensive winter signing at €18 million, are both candidates for loan moves. Dendoncker’s brief stint at Napoli, with only three appearances, is considered a significant disappointment. Similarly, Hamed Traorè has returned to Bournemouth after playing just nine matches.
