El Nacional report that Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri has asked the club to sign Barcelona midfielder Gavi. The 17-year-old was a product of the Real Betis youth academy before joining the Barca youth setup in 2015.
According to El Nacional, the player has an contract with the Catalans until June 2023 which may not be renewed. That could result in a sale this summer, where Juve could make an offer or alternatively pay his termination clause of €50m.
The report also suggests that it’s Juve coach Max Allegri who has specifically asked the management to make an attempt to sign him.
