Start

Teun Koopmeiners remains Juventus’ final transfer target this summer, following the successful acquisitions of Khephren Thuram, Juan Cabal, Michele Di Gregorio, and Douglas Luiz. The Old Lady is confident in their position, having already reached an agreement with Koopmeiners and his agent Bart Baving months ago. The proposed deal is reportedly a five-year contract worth €4.5 million per season plus bonuses.

According to Tuttosport (via IlBianconero), Koopmeiners is said to be highly attracted to the project of this new Juventus, who aims to return to the top and become a winning force once again. The Dutch midfielder is particularly enticed by the prospect of being a central figure in this rejuvenated Juventus side. This enthusiasm has reportedly led him to reject advances from Manchester United and Liverpool.

The Turin based club are now working on submitting a substantial offer to Atalanta in the coming days, expected to be around €50 million. This bid is intended to convince the Bergamo-based club to part ways with their prized asset.

According to reports, there is optimism from both the player’s camp and Juventus regarding the successful completion of this transfer. The potential addition of Koopmeiners would further strengthen Juventus’ midfield, aligning with their ambitions to compete at the highest level in both domestic and European competitions.
