USMNT midfielder Tanner Tessmann is on the verge of joining Fiorentina, with only the final green light pending for the transfer. Fiorentina are in the final stages of securing all necessary agreements regarding the commissions to be paid to the entourage of the American midfielder, who is currently participating in the Olympics with the USA national team.
Calciomercato confirm that the agreed transfer fee is approximately 5-5.5 million euros, while the offer for the player includes a €1.2 million annual salary over a five-year contract.
Inter Milan had also shown interest in Tanner “the Tank” Tessmann, but their plan involved loaning him out for a season. Initially, there was a joint deal involving Oristanio, who was later sold separately to Venezia. Eventually, Inter withdrew from the negotiations completely.
Tessmann is expected to play alongside Rolando Mandragora in the midfield under coach Raffaele Palladino. However, Fiorentina look likely to add another midfielder to their squad.
