AC Milan in talks with Verona for Alphadjo Cissè

Start

AC Milan are in negotiations with Hellas Verona for their talented young prospect Alphadjo Cissè. The 17-year-old attacking midfielder is considered one of the most promising players born in 2006 in Italian football. Verona have shown great faith in Cissè, handing him his Serie A debut last season.

According to Calciomercato, Milan and Atalanta are the clubs showing the strongest interest in Cissè. The Rossoneri had previously attempted to sign him in the January transfer window but were rebuffed by Verona. However, there has been a recent breakthrough in talks thanks to direct contact between Milan CEO Giorgio Furlani and Verona’s sporting director Sean Sogliano. Furlani is personally leading the negotiations for Milan.

Verona are open to selling Cissè but have set a significant price tag of €5 million. To potentially lower the cash outlay, Milan are considering including striker Marco Nasti as part of the deal. Nasti is a player Sogliano admires, but the two clubs have not yet agreed on his valuation.

The talented Cissè has attracted attention from several top Serie A clubs with his technical ability and speed in the attacking midfield role. Milan see him as an exciting prospect for the future and are working to find an agreement with Verona. Negotiations are ongoing as both sides look to reach a compromise on the structure of the deal.
