Udinese continue to be active in the transfer market, with the club reaching a preliminary agreement with Cluj for goalkeeper Razvan Sava. A new update is expected today to finalize the remaining details of the transfer.
Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Cluj have requested that Udinese allow Sava to participate in their upcoming Conference League preliminary round match against Neman Grodno before completing the move. If all goes well, the goalkeeper is expected to arrive in Udine on Friday for medical examinations and to sign his contract.
The negotiations are progressing based on a four-year contract. Discussions are ongoing regarding whether this will be a straight four-year deal or if it will include an option for an additional year. Regardless, there is a general agreement between the clubs.
Sava, who made 33 appearances for Cluj last season, has an interesting background. He developed in the youth academies of Juventus and Pescara, and also had experiences with Lecce and Torino’s Primavera team before joining Cluj.
