Como, newly promoted to Serie A, are considering a move for Brazilian midfielder Arthur Melo, who has returned to Juventus after a loan spell at Fiorentina last season. The ambitious club is pursuing an aggressive transfer strategy and has set its sights on the former Barcelona player.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Como have made initial inquiries about Arthur’s availability. The Brazilian is not part of Juventus’ plans for the upcoming season and was not included in the squad for their pre-season tour in Germany.
However, the potential transfer faces significant challenges. Given Arthur’s high wages, Como could only proceed if Juventus agrees to contribute to his salary. The 27-year-old midfielder is also attracting interest from abroad, with Everton and Leicester City reportedly keen on his services.
Meanwhile, Mattia De Sciglio was also left out of Thiago Motta’s squad for the Germany tour. The club is exploring foreign options for the former Milan defender, who is under contract with Juventus until June 30, 2025.
