Galeno has emerged as a favorable option due to his dual citizenship, holding a Portuguese passport, which means he wouldn’t occupy a non-EU spot in the team’s roster. This factor, combined with his potential for long-term impact, makes him an attractive proposition for the Bianconeri.
Porto’s current financial situation adds another dimension to the potential transfer. The Portuguese club is under pressure to generate funds to comply with Financial Fair Play regulations, potentially making them more receptive to offers.
