Following the successful acquisition of goalkeeper Mathew Ryan, Roma have has set their sights on two key targets: Matias Soule from Juventus and Lorenz Assignon from Rennes.
Sky Sport Italia report that Matias Soule, the young Argentine talent, has emerged as a top priority for Roma. The player is reportedly aware of manager Daniele De Rossi’s high regard for him and is said to be favoring a move to the Giallorossi. However, the transfer hinges on Roma’s ability to meet Juventus’ asking price.
For the right-back position, Roma has expressed interest in Lorenz Assignon, a 24-year-old player from Rennes. Assignon spent the previous season on loan at Burnley in the Premier League. While Burnley is keen to make the move permanent, the player is hesitant about playing in the Championship following the club’s relegation. This situation has opened the door for Roma, with reports suggesting that the Italian capital club is currently Assignon’s preferred destination.
