Inter and Venezia are progressing in their negotiations involving American midfielder Tanner Tessmann and Italian attacking midfielder Gaetano Pio Oristanio. The two clubs have been in talks since mid-June, with Inter particularly keen on securing Tessmann’s services.
According to Sky Sport Italia, the current plan is for Inter to sign Tessmann but leave him on loan at Venezia for another year. However, the 22-year-old US international has not yet made a final decision on this arrangement. If Tessmann doesn’t agree to stay with Venezia, Inter may consider loaning him to another club.
Simultaneously, discussions are underway regarding Gaetano Pio Oristanio potentially moving in the opposite direction. The 21-year-old, who spent last season on loan at Cagliari, could join Venezia on a permanent basis. Inter is looking to include a buy-back clause in the deal for the promising Italian youngster.
During his loan spell at Cagliari last season, Oristanio made 25 appearances, contributing two goals and one assist. His performances have caught the attention of Venezia, who are keen to add him to their squad.
As negotiations continue, both clubs are working towards a mutually beneficial agreement that would see Tessmann eventually join Inter while providing Oristanio with an opportunity for regular first-team football at Venezia. The coming days are likely to be crucial in finalizing these interlinked transfers.
