Former Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal recently gave an interview to Davoo Xeneize Plus, where he shared his thoughts on his time with the Italian club. Vidal reminisced about Juventus’ formidable midfield lineup during his tenure and made some bold comparisons:
“Vidal-Pirlo-Marchisio-Pogba? For me, it’s the best midfield I’ve ever seen or played in. I believe it’s the best in the history of football.
“Xavi-Busquets-Iniesta? They were different. Technically spectacular, but they couldn’t lay a kick. They struggled against us. If it weren’t for Messi, we would have won the Champions League.
“That was the best year of my life. We almost achieved the treble with Juve and then won the Copa America with Chile. In two months, we practically did everything.”
