Premier League giants Manchester United have reportedly expressed interest in Bologna’s Swiss winger Dan Ndoye. The Red Devils have made initial inquiries about the 23-year-old player, who is currently representing Switzerland at the European Championship.
Sky Sport Italia report how Ndoye, who has been on the radar of several Italian clubs, including Inter, has caught the attention of the English giants. United has been gathering information about the young talent, exploring potential conditions for a transfer, although formal negotiations have not yet begun.
The club’s interest was piqued by Ndoye’s impressive performance for Switzerland against Germany, where he scored the opening goal. This display has further elevated his profile on the international stage. Interestingly, Ineos, the group that owns a stake in Manchester United, is already familiar with Ndoye. The player has previously played for Lausanne and Nice, both clubs owned by the Ineos group.
In his debut season in Italy with Bologna, Ndoye made 32 appearances in Serie A, scoring one goal and providing two assists. His lone goal came in a memorable away victory against Napoli at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.
