Gazzetta: Juventus explore potential Chiesa-Greenwood swap

Start

Having completed a swap deal for Douglas Luiz, Juventus are reportedly considering a trade deal involving Federico Chiesa and Mason Greenwood. The Bianconeri are set to sent Enzo Barrenechea and Samuel Iling Jr. to Aston Villa, and are now exploring other potential player exchanges.

La Gazzetta dello Sport now report that the Bianconeri are now considering an ambitious swap deal involving Federico Chiesa and Mason Greenwood. The Italian club is interested in Greenwood, who has rejuvenated his career at Getafe, but Manchester United’s asking price of €40-50 million is currently beyond Juventus’ budget. A potential solution could involve sending Chiesa to United in exchange for Greenwood.

Alternatively, Juventus might pursue Jadon Sancho on loan from Manchester United, with the English club potentially covering part of his salary.

In midfield, Juventus is eyeing Khepheren Thuram from Nice and Youssouf Fofana from Monaco as potential replacements for Adrien Rabiot, whose contract expires soon. These deals could be in the €20-25 million range, potentially offset by including Moise Kean in a move to a French club.

Teun Koopmeiners remains a top priority for Juventus. The club is refining its strategy to meet Atalanta’s €55-60 million valuation. Young defender Dean Huijsen, returning from a loan at Roma, could be a key piece in this negotiation, either directly or indirectly.

Juventus are also monitoring Karim Adeyemi from Borussia Dortmund as a potential attacking option.
