Juventus are reportedly on the verge of signing Douglas Luiz from Aston Villa in a deal that will include two players making the switch to the Premier League. Reports from earlier this week suggested that Villa wanted both Weston McKennie and Samuel Iling Jr in the deal, plus a cash sum of €20 million.
Sky Sprot Italia report that according to their sources, negotiations have intensified, and the transfer is nearing completion.
The deal initially saw Aston Villa demanding Juventus’ Iling Junior, Weston McKennie, and an additional cash amount. While finalizing the details will take a few more days, the operation is heading towards closure. The proposed agreement involves a cash component between €18 million and €20 million, alongside the inclusion of the two Juventus players.
Contracts for both Douglas Luiz and Weston McKennie have already been defined. Now, the focus shifts to ironing out the finer details related to Iling and the exact cash figure.
