Como are gearing up for a significant transfer market campaign and while midfield reinforcements like Boloca and Stefano Sensi are on their radar, the standout target for their attack is Alexis Sanchez.
The Chilean forward’s contract with Inter Milan is set to expire on June 30, 2024, and he is expected to leave the club. Unlike last summer, when Sanchez returned to Inter at the end of August, he is looking to secure a new team early this year to begin preparations in July.
Sky Sport Italia report that currently, there have been no direct contacts between Como and Sanchez’s representatives. However, Como might leverage the relationship with Cesc Fabregas, who played alongside Sanchez at Barcelona from 2011 to 2014, to facilitate negotiations.
During the last season at Inter, Sanchez made 33 appearances across Serie A, the Italian Super Cup, and the Champions League, contributing 4 goals and 5 assists. His experience and skill set could prove invaluable for Como as they strive to strengthen their squad and ensure their survival in Serie A.
