Antonio Conte to become new Napoli Manager: Agreement reached

Start

Antonio Conte is set to take over as the new manager of Napoli, having reached an agreement with President Aurelio De Laurentiis. This decision follows a courtship that began several months ago, with initial attempts to bring Conte to Naples during the recently concluded season. However, Conte preferred to start with a clean slate and expressed his readiness to take on the challenge at Napoli. Now, the deal is set, and Conte is expected to sign the contract in the coming days.

Finalizing the Deal

Calciomercato report that the crucial breakthrough has been achieved, with both De Laurentiis and Conte making their decisions. The remaining details, including image rights, the coaching staff, and other bureaucratic matters, have been ironed out. With no significant obstacles left, the final agreement has been reached. Conte is expected to arrive in Naples over the weekend, with the contract signing anticipated early next week. He will sign a deal  that runs until June 2027, and his team will include Lele Oriali. The agreement covers salary, bonuses, and incentives, with only the official announcement from De Laurentiis pending.

Grand Presentation Planned

President De Laurentiis is planning a grand presentation to introduce Conte as the new manager. Last year, Rudi Garcia was presented at the scenic location of Capodimonte. For Conte, the plan is even more ambitious, with the historic Teatro San Carlo in Naples being considered as the venue for his unveiling. While the exact date is yet to be finalized due to technical and organizational details, it could be as soon as Tuesday.
