Juventus have officially confirmed that full-back Andrea Cambiaso has renewed his contract with the club until 2029. A statement on the clubs official website confirmed the news:
Andrea Cambiaso’s story at Juventus might have started fairly recently, but it will continue for a long time to come, having today renewed his contract until 30 June, 2029.
A Bianconero since 2022, but has been in Turin on a permanent basis since the following year, enjoying a solid first full season at Juventus: he’s played 32 games so far this campaign, 28 from the first minute (a record for him) while contributing three goals and six assists.
The 24-year-old is all about running, willpower, application and dedication, but not only that: his quality in reading the game is increasingly evident, and it is no coincidence that the fantastic pass that put Vlahovic through on goal to score the Coppa Italia winner this season came from his foot.
In terms of the number of chances created in this Serie A campaign, Andrea ranks third in the team with 33, behind only Weston McKennie (38) and Federico Chiesa (37).
We mentioned running earlier: only Adrien Rabiot (4399m) has covered a greater distance with the ball than Andrea (4391m) in the league among Juventus players.
Moreover, Andrea equaled his best season in Serie A in terms of goal contributions: five (two goals and three assists), as in 2021/22 with the Genoa shirt, and nine, if we widen our gaze to include the Coppa Italia, which he lifted just over a week ago.
None of this is a coincidence, and especially not the fact that our story together continues to grow ever stronger.
Forward together, Andrea!
