Goal Italia journalist Romeo Agresti says he expects Max Allegri’s departure to be announced after their match with Monza. The Bianconeri coach looks almost certain to leave the club after a disappointing campaign that saw them timidly slip out of the title race, while also struggling to secure a top five finish. Juve have mustered just one win in their last 10 Serie A matches and their poor form was highlighted once again on Sunday evening, following a 1-1 draw against an already relegated Salernitana side.
Speaking on his YouTube channel, Agresti commented on Allegri future, stating:
“I expect Juventus to announce the separation with Allegri after the match against Monza and a few days later announce Thiago Motta.”
“I’ve already said it several times, those who think that by removing Allegri Juventus will perform at a high standard again in all competitions are greatly mistaken.”
“I’m no longer addressing the Allegri topic because it is no longer a topic, Juve will change coach. On Thiago Motta I ask the fans to remain calm.”
