Sky Sport Italia journalist Gianluca Di Marzio has reiterated that Thiago Motta looks set to join Juventus this summer. Numerous reports have linked the Bianconeri with a move for the Bologna coach, with Max Allegri looking increasingly likely to depart next month.
Di Marzio (as quoted by Ilbianconero) once again shared his insights on the rumours, confirming that Juventus have had a sort of verbal agreement with Motta for several months now. He would like the Bologna project to revolve around him, but at the moment, it’s not the case. The club has its project, and the coach is part of this project, not its centre:
“If things don’t change surprisingly,” Di Marzio told Sky, “we will arrive at what we have been saying, with Thiago Motta at Juventus. I think it’s hard to say no to Juventus, especially at this moment, with a new project that would start right under Thiago Motta’s influence.”
