Juventus have serious interest in Mason Greenwood

Start

Juventus reportedly have a strong interest in signing Manchester United youngster Mason Greenwood this summer. The 22-year-old has a year left on his contract with the Red Devils, but the club look unlikely to renew his contract in the wake of a series of allegations that were made against him by his partner.

Greenwood was arrested In January 2022 on suspicion of rape and assault but all charges were eventually dropped, and he was loaned out to  Getafe for the 2023-24 season.

Calciomercato report that Juventus director Cristiano Giuntoli is very keen on the youngster and believes he would compliment the Bianconeri’s squad.

The report outlines two key reasons why Greenwood could be a key addition for Juve, suggesting that his technical characteristics would be suited to the Italian league, and he’d be available at a relatively low cost, given his contract situation.

United are asking for at least €30 million for the youngster, while Juventus are expecting to offer around half that amount.
