Milan are reportedly weighing up the possibility of offloading both Theo Hernandez and Mike Maignan during the upcoming summer transfer window. Following the sale of Sandro Tonali last summer and the acquisition of several key players pivotal to their current campaign, Milan could be primed for further player movements.
According to reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport (via TMW), Milan may entertain offers for Hernandez and Maignan if suitors meet the club’s valuation. Despite ongoing contract negotiations, significant progress has yet to materialize. Failure to secure new deals could prompt Milan to seek substantial fees for the duo in the transfer market.
Maignan, whose contract extends until 30 June 2026, currently commands an annual salary of €3.2 million. Milan are reportedly contemplating doubling his salary in a bid to retain his services. However, if an agreement proves elusive, the club may entertain offers in excess of €100 million for the goalkeeper.
Similarly, Hernandez, whose contract also expires in two years, remains locked in negotiations over a contract extension. With no resolution in sight, Milan may explore lucrative offers for the talented full-back. Both players have garnered interest from European heavyweights such as Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain, while potential suitors from the Premier League could also emerge if Milan opts to part ways with them.
