Giorgio Chiellini linked with Juventus management role.

Start

Former Juventus captain Giorgio Chiellini is being linked with a return to the club as part of Cristiano Giuntoli’s management team. Currently residing in Los Angeles, Chiellini opted to remain with LAFC after his announcement, taking on the role of player development coach.

La Gazzetta dello Sport (via TMW) report that the recent appointments of Giuseppe Pompilio and Stefano Stefanelli signal a shift in the Bianconeri’s management team, and the changes are expected to extend further. With Pavel Nedved’s departure, fans are clamoring for the integration of a club legend into the management structure. Among the candidates stands Giorgio Chiellini, the former Juventus defender who is now exploring his post-retirement venture in Los Angeles.

Should Juventus extend an invitation, Chiellini is poised to accept, marking a potential reunion with his brother Claudio in Turin. Claudio is slated to continue his role as the head of the Next Gen project. However, Chiellini’s interests seem to lean towards organizational and financial aspects rather than scouting or market-related responsibilities.

Amidst potential arrivals, departures are also on the horizon. Giovanni Manna seems set to join Napoli in the coming weeks, while Federico Cherubini’s future hangs in the balance. Parma’s interest in Cherubini could solidify should President Krause opt for a new direction, potentially affecting Mauro Pederzoli’s contract renewal.
