Juric “Buongiorno is Back, He Will Start Tomorrow”

In anticipation of the upcoming clash between Torino and Fiorentina, coach Ivan Juric has brought a smile to the faces of Torino fans with some promising news regarding the return of the team’s captain, Alessandro Buongiorno. Speaking ahead of the match, Juric confirmed that the youngster will return to the starting XI as they continue their pursuit of European football for the new campaign:

“We’ve found Alessandro again in these past few days, as he resumed training with us,” Juric revealed in his pre-match press conference. “He’s been doing some specific work, but before rejoining the group, he put in a lot of effort to maintain the right condition so he’d be ready when the time came. Tomorrow, he’ll play.”

“Rodriguez followed his regular training program, everything went well. Tomorrow, we want to use him,” Juric stated confidently.

However, there are still absences to contend with, including Vojvoda, who is sidelined with a back issue, and Tameze and Lovato, nursing muscular injuries. Lazaro, having recovered from a minor discomfort, will be available for selection, while Pellegri is set to return to the squad.

As Torino prepares for the crucial fixture against Fiorentina, Juric emphasized the importance of the match in their pursuit of European qualification.

“Now is a phase of the season where games begin to decrease, and points become increasingly important,” Juric asserted. “Tomorrow will be a mega-important game. We’ve played two great matches against Lazio and Roma, but sometimes football is like that, and we’re very disappointed not to have brought anything home. Now is the time to get results; we must not lose faith. We must continue to believe in our game, improving our offensive play in the final third without making defensive mistakes. The team needs to be mentally strong.”
