According to reports from Calciomercato.com, Roma are considering the possibility of initiating negotiations with Juventus for the permanent acquisition of Dutch central defender Dean Huijsen. Huijsen joined the Giallorossi on loan in January and has already made an immediate impact at the club, scoring two goals including one in Sunday’s 3-1 win over Frosinone.
Calciomercato indicate that Juventus are not inclined to extend the loan of the young talent, despite his potential usefulness for the upcoming season. However, Juventus seem open to discussing a permanent transfer, setting the asking price at no less than €30 million.
In the absence of these conditions, Huijsen is expected to return to Turin where he will be integrated into the first team next season.
