Serbian striker Dusan Vlahovic spoke of his love for Juventus ahead of the Derby D’Italia: “I love this city and this club, I’m having a great time at Juve.” The 24-year-old has hit a rich vein of form ahead of the Bianconeri’s trip to the San Siro this evening, scoring seven goals in his last seven Serie A matches. Speaking with BeIN Sport, Vlahovic touched on his experiences in Turin, the World Cup, and his love for the Juve shirt:
“I love this city and this club; I am doing great at Juventus. It is an environment that has exceeded my expectations.
“Injuries? Now I feel great personally; I am happy to have helped the team, and we are getting the results we wanted; when you win, you work better, and we must continue like this.”
“Qatar 2022? It was not the experience I hoped for. I was not well, not even in shape to train, mentally it was difficult for me. I could not do what I wanted, despite having a great opportunity like the World Cup.”
“The racism against Maignan? I send a hug to him, he is not alone; we are all with him. And we will do everything so that these things no longer happen in football: it is unacceptable to discriminate against someone because of their skin color. We play and live together, and we are all equal.”
