Napoli’s Supercoppa Italiana hero Alessio Zerbin is being linked with a loan move back to Frosinone until the end of the season. The talented 24-year-old was the match winner for he Partenopei in their Supercoppa match against Fiorentina, scoring a late brace to secure a vital victory in the first match of the competition.
Sky Sport Italia now report that the links between the player and Frosinone have been in place for some time, and that the ‘player’s agents want to respect the pact made with Frosinone for their client.’
Zerbin has featured just nine times across all competitions so far this season for Napoli, and his agents want to ensure more playing time for the youngster.
Despite traveling to Saudi Arabia with the Partenopei, the player is only expected to remain with the club until the end of the competition and will confirm the switch to Frosinone on his return.
