In yet another twist in the Lazar Samardzic transfer saga, Juventus have now agreed personal terms with the player’s father. The Serbian international has been in ongoing talks with Napoli over a winter transfer, but the move had reportedly stalled over discussions on the players personal terms.
The Partenopei had reportedly agreed to pay €25m for his signing, but discussions over the players image rights and salary have been a sticking point.
TuttoMercatoWeb now claim that Juventus are pushing to sign the player as well, and have already spoken with his entourage to discuss a deal. In an added boost to their chances, the 21-year-old’s father has given the go ahead for the move.
The Bianconeri now need to agree terms with Udinese who are holding firm on the €25m valuation for the player. Juventus are hoping to defer payments over an extended period of time, but will need Udinese to agree terms in the coming weeks.
