Napoli’s move for Udinese midfielder Lazar Samardzic looks to be in the home straight, despite some late interest from Brighton. The Partenopei have been pushing to sign the Serbian international for several weeks, but talks have reportedly stalled on a number of issues, including image rights.
Sky Sport Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg reports that the two clubs have now agreed terms on a €20 million deal, with a further €5 million in variious add-ons.
Despite having reached an agreement, Sky claim that the player is yet to make a final decision, as Brighton have made a late bid to sign him before the window closes.
Samardzic was previously close to a move to Inter, only for the deal to collapse at the last minute, with the Nerazzurri blaming the players demands for the transfer being called off..
