Sky Sport Italia report that Fiorentina are being linked with a move for Hellas Verona forward Cyril Ngonge. La Viola have struggled for goals of late, managing to score just once in each of their last five games across all competitions.
Transfer journalist Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Fiorentina have now taken an interest in one of Verona’s most interesting players: Cyril Ngonge, a forward born in 2000. The two teams, however, attribute two different valuations to the Belgian striker.
According to Verona, Ngonge’s value is valued at €12/13 million, while Fiorentina think the striker is worth closer to €8/9 million, significantly lower than Hellas’ valuation.
Ngonge has managed five goals and two assists in 19 appearances between the league and Coppa Italia, but the Gialloblù still find themselves dangerously close to the relegation zone, and may have to part ways with the striker in the summer if their form doesn’t improve.
