Sky Sport Italia suggest that Juventus are opening up to the idea of loaning young defender Dean Huijsen to Roma. The Giallorossi find themselves in need of defensive reinforcements, but lack the means to sign anyone outright this January, the suggestion being that they will look to loan young talent instead.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Huijsen is ‘always in Roma’s thoughts’, and the Giallorossi are working to try and unblock a deal for Dutchman’s loan this winter.
Juve have ‘given signs of opening’ but with an expensive loan fee, while Roma are in a hurry to get the player and are pushing to close the deal ahead of Sunday.
The 18-year-old is reportedly a player favoured by Roma coach José Mourinho and the Portuguese tactician has made inroads into convincing the player to join.
Juventus want to see if the conditions are favourable to justify their non-commitment to Frosinone (an agreement had already been reached for a loan to Eusebio Di Francesco’s team until the end of the season).
