Atalanta forward Charles De Ketelaere is looking forward to facing parent club Milan in the quarter-finals of the Coppa Italia: “They have to be careful against Atalanta.” The Belgian youngster put in a man-of-the-match performance in La Dea’s 3-1 victory over Sassuolo last night, setting up a quarter-final against the Rossoneri next week. De Ketelaere struggled for form in his first season with Milan, but has settled quickly in Bergamo under the guidance of Gianpiero Gasperini. Speaking with Sky Sport Italia, he warned that this Atalanta side is not a team to be taken lightly:
“We knew what we had to do and we did it with a good performance. Three goals, we could have scored even more but everything went well tonight.”
“On the pitch I’m improving. Milan? It’s always special, against this Atalanta though, they have to be careful.”
“Winning the Coppa Italia? We will try. We will try to win against AC Milan, we see match after match. If we play well we can take satisfaction”.
