Milan are being linked with a move for veteran Lazio defender Francesco Acerbi and have already started talks with his agent. The 34-year-old famously fell out with Biancocelesti supporters at the end of last season after the clubs controversial defeat to the Rossoneri in the final minutes of the match.
Sky Sport Italia report that the player has fallen out with the clubs hardcore fanbase who haven’t forgiven him and a move this summer looks likely.
According to Sky, Milan are giving serious consideration to signing Acerbi to provide cover in defence next season and have already started talks with his agent Federico Pastorello.
The club are yet to get in contact with Lazio to discuss Acerbi but the Italy international has a contract with them until 2025.
