Atalanta are closing in on the transfer of Hellas Verona’s Swedish centre-back Isak Hien, with medical tests already scheduled. La Dea have been missing José Palomino and Rafael Toloi in recent matches and have moved quickly to reinforce their back line for the remainder of the season.
Transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano reports that Atalanta will pay Hellas €8 million to sign Hien, with medical tests booked for Monday. Along with Hien, Atalanta will sign 18-year-old striker Siren Diao from Verona as part of deal.
Hien has been with Verona for just one full season but has impressed in a short space of time, making 40 appearances in total for Hellas.
