Sky Sport Italia report that Napoli have made a first bid to sign Salernitana full-back Pasquale Mazzocchi. The Partenopei are in need of cover in the defence and will reportedly look to make some signings in the January transfer window, as confirmed by club president Aurelio De Laurentiis.
Sky report that the Partenopei have made an opening bid of €1.5 million for Mazzocchi, while Salernitana want closer to €4 million but are open to negotiations.
Napoli are also being linked with Tottenham Hotspure midfielder Pierre-Emile Højbjerg, Udinese man Lazar Samardzic and Al Nassr’s Seko Fofana.
The club are in the market for a new midfielder in case Piotr Zieliński opts not to renew before the summer, meaning he could be sold in the weeks ahead.
