Calciomercato report that Milan have begun talks with Barcelona over a potential loan for defender Clement Lenglet. The French defender is currently on loan at Premier League side Aston Villa, but has barely featured so far this season.
According to Calciomercato, the Rossoneri are keen to sign a new centre-back in the January transfer window, given that Fikayo Tomori is the only fit defender at present.
Barcelona are reportedly open to the idea of loaning Lenglet to Milan, but will need to discuss the players €6m-a-year salary as well as receiving the go-ahead from Villa for the move.
Milan are also in talks with Arsenal to try and agree a loan move for Jakub Kiwior and are considering bringing Matteo Gabbia back from Villarreal, where he’s currently on loan.
