Adrien Rabiot’s mother-agent has dismissed reports that he is close to renewing his contract with Juventus for another year. The Frenchman has six months left on his existing deal with the Old Lady, and La Gazzetta dello Sport claimed last week that he would be penning a one-year extension. Speaking with ANSA, Veronique Rabiot denied the reports, suggesting there were no talks with Juve or any other team:
“I deny the news about the renewal of Adrien’s contract with Juventus, he has not made any decision about his future and is focused exclusively on the pitch and this season.
“t the moment there are no discussions with any club about his future. Although on Thursday morning I was angry when I discovered the news on the front page and an article, which is nothing but a total journalistic invention, I chose to respond only today to let the weekend pass and not interfere with my son’s match.”
