Former Inter defender Milan Skriniar says Serie A is more tactical than Ligue 1: ‘Here there are many physically strong and fast players’. The former Nerazzurri man spoke with the PSG official YouTube channel about his early experiences in the French capital, contrasting his time in Italy with his time with the Ligue 1 champions:
“I feel really good and I’m finally where I wanted to be. I’ve worked hard to get there. What does Luis Enrique ask of us? To control the game and have the ball, an ideal style because if you have the ball the opponent has to run to try and recover the ball: I like that.”
“Marquinhos? He speaks Italian and we understood each other from day one, he’s one of the best defenders in the world, I thought so before we played together: we get on very well. Differences between Serie A and Ligue 1? Here there are many physically strong and fast players, in Italy there is more tactics and here many one-on-ones. When the other teams face PSG it seems like the final of the World Cup, we must always be ready because we are one of the best teams in the world.”
“Bond with the fans? We always feel their support and receive energy every game, they even applauded us when we lost to Nice: it’s nice to play in front of them.”
