Real Madrid striker Luka Jovic has emerged as one of the key loan targets for Fiorentina this summer. The Serbian international has barely featured for Real since joining them in 2019, playing understudy to teammate Karim Benzema for much of his time in Madrid.
Marca and Sky Sport Italia now report that Fiorentina are interested in taking Jovic on loan for the 2022/23 season and is one of their main targets.
The report suggests that the two sides have been in contact with one another and are already working on a potential loan, however one big stumbling block is the sizeable salary of €6m per season,
It’s thought that Real would continue to pay part of his wages with La Viola paying the remainder in a move similar to the loan they agreed for Alvaro Odriozola last season.
