Atalanta will be without Charles De Ketelaere, Giorgio Scalvini and Matteo Ruggeri for their Europa League match against Sturm Graz. La Dea are set to face the Austrian side on Thursday, but are expected to lineup with at least three key starters.
El Bilal Touré and José Luis Palomino are long term absentees, but De Ketelaere, Scalvini and Scalvini are set to join them, with the Belgian midfielder suffering from injuries to his left knee with medial collateral ligament involvement.
Ruggeri has traumatic-distractive injuries to his right ankle with involvement of the internal articular compartment, while Scalvini, on the other hand, is still struggling with the lower back pain that has made him sit out several times in the recent period.
The conditions of AC Milan loanee De Ketelaere is particularly concerning as a recovery time has yet to be announced.
