PSG defender Milan Skriniar believes he ‘knows how to play as an opponent’ at the San Siro, but refused to delve into his departure from Inter. The Slovakian international left the Nerazzurri this summer on a free transfer, amidst reports that the club had tried to renew his contract on a number of occasions. Speaking ahead of PSG’s Champions League match with Milan tomorrow, the 28-year-old talked about returning to the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza and the kind of match he expects:
“I know very well how to play here, I know how to face them as an opponent, having played so many derbies. We have to stay focused.
“I knew it would not be easy, but I’m happy at PSG: I have more and more confidence, there is a lot to improve. I really like Luis Enrique’s style of play, made of ball possession, high pressing and recovery”.
“Leaving Inter? I don’t want to create controversy. I know how it went, the club knows too’.
