Sassuolo coach Alessio Dionisi says his teams performance against Torino is dependent on them, dismissing the idea their opponents are in crisis. The Neroverdi travel to Turin this afternoon to face a Toro side that have managed just one win in their last six matches. Speaking ahead of the game, Dionisi gave an update on his team and an evaluation of the Torino team they expect to face:
“Both teams have shown that they deserve over the years what they have achieved. We have a team like Torino in front of us that has always made our lives difficult, as it has always been since I have been here….it will be a difficult game precisely because Torino is a difficult team, physical, they have strengthened because it is an important reality that they have done very well last year and wants to confirm themselves. For our part, we have the qualities to emerge, but of course, confirming oneself is not the easiest thing. We will have to go there with great determination because only our qualities will not be enough.”
“The Coppa Italia game? The first response was the qualification of the round, now we arrive at the third round and then we will think about it in the future. It was important to give a positive performance. Then, of course that under the eyes of all there is a team from Serie A hat goes to penalties against a team from Serie B….t.
“Henryiue will not be of the game, we knew that the few days between one game and the other are not on his side and I do not know if he will return for the next one. Those who played in the Cup trained.
“You judge us for the results, it is normal that this is so. We need to do more than last year. Against Torino it is not a final but it is an important match, I look back and forth but I look at us. I know we can do more but you have to accept what you do otherwise you make a mistake. We are not a team in Europe but in the future, which is not this year, to return to Europe after 11 years…. but one step at a time.
“Torino respects Djuric both for what he has done and the qualities he has and for the market he has done, he put in Tameze, Zapata, experienced players, and it is an added value. I don’t think Torino are in crisis. “
