The agent of Empoli midfielder Kristjan Asllani has confirmed that terms are agreed on a move to Inter. The Albanian international drew the attention of a number of Serie A and European clubs during last season, but the Nerazzurri have moved quickest, securing personal terms with the player and Empoli.
Speaking after leaving Inter headquarters, the players agent Elio Berti told reports things were progressing:
“The meeting went well, it will just take a few days to finalise everything. The two clubs have reached an agreement. All the parties are ready to move forward. We’re all happy when clubs like this are interested.
He was also asked if other clubs were interested in Asllani, but replied pointing to the Inter offices:
“We were here, what can be better?”
The deal is expected to be a €4m loan with an obligation to buy under certain conditions for a further €10m at the end of the new season, combined with a potential €2m in bonuses, while Inter youth product Martin Satriano will join Empoli o on loan for the 2022-23 season.
