Juventus are reportedly working on a contract extension for Nicolo Fagioli, despite the player’s recent suspension. The young Bianconeri talent was handed a seven-month ban for his involvement in placing bets on illegal gambling platforms earlier this month.
La Gazzetta dello Sport report that despite the player’s infractions, the club view him as a potential long-term candiate to lead their midfield.
The 22-year-old has a contract with Juventus until 2026, but Gazzetta suggest that the Turin giants are keen to tie him down to a longer term deal.
Juve are working on a number of contract extensions at present, with Fedrico Chiesa and Adrien Rabiot reportedly in talks over new deals with the Old Lady.
